Who We Are

Founded in 2015, Ilha BD Madeiras is located in Santa Cecília, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is a wood industry company focused on producing sawn and kiln-dried Taeda pine from sustainably managed plantations, with trees harvested at an average age of 18 to 22 years.

The name “Ilha BD” reflects the origins and values that guide the company’s journey. “Ilha” refers to Fazenda da Ilha, a property acquired by the founders’ ancestors in 1865, still owned by the family today and chosen as the site for the enterprise. “BD” stands for the initials of the founding partners, Bonet and Drissen.

Since its inception, Ilha BD Madeiras has combined cutting-edge technology with environmental responsibility, building a reputation based on integrity, professionalism, and consistent delivery of high-quality products.
